View Full Version : AT&T deblocheaza, la cerere, terminalele iPhone iesite din perioada de contract

04-15-2012, 09:06 PM
AT&T has officially started unlocking off-contract iPhones from April 8th, the company announced this news almost 4 days ago that they will begin the process of unlocking iPhones from Sunday onward. As promised the carrier has started taking requests for iPhone unlocks. Now a lot of people are confused about working of this unlock method. It’s really simple and if you’re eligible for an unlock you can get it done in couple of minutes, yes folks not hours just minutes. If your AT&T account is not in contract anymore of you’ve paid termination fee for your iPhone then you’re eligible for this service.

There’s another frequently asked question from people who’re currently not in USA but own an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4which is locked on AT&T. Folks, the best option you have here is to contact AT&T support and give them your IMEI number. They will run some checks on your IMEI and tell you whether you’re eligible for an unlock or not. A lot of people are getting quick replies from AT&T that their iPhone has been unlocked successfully. Some iPhone users may have to wait for 72 hours and some user may have to wait for a week but if you are eligible then you’d have no issues at all.

So here’s how you can do it, if you’re in USA then AT&T’s online chat support is the best option you have to get the ball rolling. But the problem is not for people who are living in USA it’s for those who’re not living in USA. People who’re not living in US can call AT&T’s Call Center and get in touch with AT&T’s support guy who will help you through the process, simple dial this +1-800-288-2020 number and that’s about it.

AT&T Deblocheaza iPhone-urile gratuit doar ... :

AT&T will unlock an iPhone under the following circumstances:

•the individual requesting the unlock is a current AT&T customer or a former AT&T customer who can provide the phone number or account number for the account;

•the iPhone was designed for use on AT&T’s network;

•all contract obligations, including any term commitment, associated with the device to be unlocked have been fully satisfied;

•the iPhone has not been reported lost or stolen

In addition, current customer accounts must be in good standing with no past-due amount or unpaid balance and has been active for at least sixty (60) days. Former customer account may be eligible for unlocking as long as they do not owe AT&T an Early Termination Fee or other unpaid balance.

AT&T will also unlock an iPhone for an active and deployed member of the military who is a current AT&T customer in good standing and is able to provide AT&T with deployment verification; and a person who purchased the iPhone from an authorized location at the 'no commitment' price and can provide proof of purchase.
